Mother Vivian L. Lamb is the daughter of the late Clemon McGriff Sr. and Earnestine McGriff . She was born April 10, 1946 in Grady County.
At an early age she confessed Christ and became a member of Cedar Springs AME Church. Then later in life she joined Morris Temple First Born Church in Bainbridge GA. She along with her husband, organized the Lamb Temple in Tallahasssee, FL, Then in Bainbrdige GA and Midway FL.
She attended the public scholls of Grady County and graduated Washington Consolidated School in1964.
She worked at Belks for as a Retail Associate until retirement. Then Vivian’s Place and Lamb Pallets.
She was married to the late Dec L.C. Brown for 25 years, and on March 29, 1991, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Bishop Willie Lamb Sr. Through this union The Lamb Temple of God was birthed over 28 years ago where she served as the Co-Pastor, Bible Study, teacher, and praise and worship leader. Mother Vivian Lamb saw a need in her community and God laid it on her heart to start a food bank ministry over 28 years ago and it is still in operation as of today.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband: Bishop Willie Lamb Sr.; Three step children: Dana Gilcrease (Andry) of Midway FL; Willie Lamb Jr. (Lashawnda) of Bainbridge GA; and Sa’Nise Lamb of Stone Mountain GA; Her siblings: Luella Wooden, Clemons McGriff, Jr. (Ella) of Bainbridge, GA and LaVerne Hooks of San Antonio, TX; Brother-in-laws and Sister-in-laws: Elijah Lamb (deceased) Louis Parker Sr. (Deceased) Vernell Parker/Brown (Deceased) Roosevelt Lamb Sr. (Deceased) Elijah Lamb (Deceased) Olla Mae Wilson (Deceased), Robert Lamb (Deceased), Majorie Vactor, Emma Lamb, Eugene Lamb Jr. , Charles Lamb, Amy Lamb (Deceased), Annie Mae Houston, Mary Lamb and a host of grands, great grands, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
