Obituary for Vivian S. Backey
Vivian Backey “Aunt Cake” as she was affectionately called by some family and friends was born December 16, 1940 in Colquitt GA to Zell Sutton Sr. and Essie Mae Sutton. Vivian was third out of twelve children.
Vivian married the love of her life, Cleveland Backey Sr. on January 16, 1965. They were married for 42 plus years. To this union two strong- willed men were born, Cleveland Backey Jr. and Bobby Earl Backey Sr.

She later joined Thankful Baptist Church and Kingdom Harvest Fellowship Church. She was loved by all who came into contact with her.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband: Cleveland Backey Sr.; son: Cleveland (Otha) Backey Jr.; grandchild Jeremy Backey; Two siblings: Essie B (Edward) Oliver and Lillian (William) Douglas.
