Sister Wanda Lee Jackson Washington was born April 22, 1964, in Decatur County, Georgia, to Deacon Thomas and Gladys Mae Snell Jackson. She was the eight of eleven children.
A Time For Commitment
Siser Wanda accepted CHRIST at an early age and was baptized at First African Missionary Baptist Church, West Bainbridge, GA where she served faithfully. She married the love of her life for 11 years Gregory Washington. She worked at Thomas & Betts and
Dollar General for many years.
A Time To Rejoice
She cherished her children, grandchildren, family and everyone she met. She was a devoted Wife, mother and grandmother who was involved in all aspects of their lives. She had an active hand in rearing several nieces, nephews, great-nieces. There was always room in her house for someone to eat and sleep. She found great joy in working in her yard, tending to her many flowers, pulling weeds, mowing yards or planting flowers in neighbors yards. She loved working in nature.
