Obituary for Waymon Haire
Brother Waymon Andrew Haire was born on April 3, 1936 to the late Eulac and Dora Kate Miller Haire in Eldorendo, Georgia. Waymon was raised in Decatur County and graduated from Hutto High School in 1955. Waymon made a career choice to join the United States Air Force for several years and later dedicated an additional 18 years of service to the United States Navy; he then continued his service working for the Department of Navy completing 39 years of service. Waymon made California his home where he met and married Dorothy Wiley. Waymon was a member of Union Mission Baptist Church where he served on Usher Board until his health failed. Waymon was compassionate about: cooking, fishing, traveling, and passing knowledge to the younger youth. He will also be remembered as the "Family Cook." Waymon was preceded in the death by his mother Dora, father Eula, and brother Luthis Haire. Waymon leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife: Dorothy Haire of Bainbridge, GA; His daughter: Deloria (Snookie) Haire; a grandson whom he raised as his son: Rashad (Nicky) Andrew Haire; Granddaughters: Kenisha Foster, Keane Williams, Kelena Williams all of Oakland, CA; Grandson: Edward Martin Jr. of Oakland, CA; Great Granddaughters: Rianne Nicole and Nariah Collins; His step son: William Clark Billinger; Step daughters: Sharon Billinger, Davina Roane (Arthur); One sister: Audrey Ophelia Rogers and his favorite niece Vanitilla Carter (Jerry) Bainbridge, GA; And Host of nieces and nephews whom all loved him dearly. ��
