Obituary for Willie A. Moss
Willie Alexander Moss was born in Giddlings, Texas on April 22, 1920. He was married to the late Mother Arletha Ella Williams Moss where they were members of Bountiful Blessings Church of God in Christ (Bainbridge, GA) where he also served as a deacon. He was disabled veteran serving in the U.S. Army from January 1942 thur December 1954 where he received the following American Theatre Campaign Medal, Asiatric Pacific Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, 1 Service Strip, # Overseas Service Bars, WWII Victory Medal, ROK Presidential Unit Citation, Korean Service Medal 5 Bronze Service Stars, Occupation Medal (Germany), National Defense Service Medal and 2 Honorable Discharges. He is survived by his caretakers Rita Nix Williams (niece), Andrew Williams, Jr. (great nephew), and Rita LaShawn Battle (great-great niece) all of Bainbridge, GA. As well as Tamikah Spratley (great-niece of Donaldsonville), and two family friend Ms. Dorothy Cheatem and Mr. John Andrews both of Bainbridge and a host of other relatives.
