Obituary
On March 2, 1939, Deacon Willie Faison was born to the late Warner and Pearlie Faison. On July 11, 2026, he peacefully answered God's call and entered into eternal rest.
Deacon Faison was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Gladys Wimbley Faison. Together they built a loving family and shared many years of faith, devotion, and cherished memories. Their union was blessed with seven children and two stepchildren. Preceding him in death were his stepdaughter, Patricia Close; his sons, Willie Faison Jr. and Andra Faison; and his daughter, Theresa Parker.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his devoted wife, Gladys W. Faison; his sons, Michael Faison and Terrjon Faison (April); his stepson, Mack Wimbley; and his daughters, Regina Butler (Terry) and Phyllis Wood (Maurice).
He is also survived by one brother, W. C. Faison (Patricia); two sisters, Dr. Elder Warnell Parker and Ms. Gracie Brooks; along with a host of beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members, and many dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness, wisdom, and love.
Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of faith, love, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
