Willie Maxine Bridley was born on September 16, 1941, to the late Willie C. Bush, Sr and the late Jemima Stubbs Bush in Colquitt, Georgia.
She joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Damascus, GA at an early age where she served as a dedicated and faithful member until her health failed. She attended Bethel High School of Colquitt, GA. She retired from Bainbridge State Hospital and Miller County Hospital as a Culinarian.
Willie was united in Holy Matrimony to the late L.D. Bridley in 1958 and to union three children were born. Willie Mac departed this life on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents: Willie C. Bush, Sr., and Jemima Bush; her daughter Vera Mae Bridley; great-grandson: DeAndre Morgan: her sister: Georgia Mae Jaye; son-in-law: Willie Johnson; and brother-n-law: Robert “Stick” Williams Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters: Emma Daniels Johnson of Blakey, GA; Carolyn (Larry) Fleno of Thomasville, GA; and Ultricia (Calvin) Daniels of Colquitt, GA; 11 Grandchildren: Freddy Grant, Christopher (Janna) Daniels, Sherita Huntley, Ashley (Lenorus) Benton, Christy Daniels, Victoria Thompson, Bridley Wade, Ulbrikia Daniels, Audriana Bridley, Talvin Daniels, and Brian Williams; 11 great grandchildren; siblings: Jimmy Lee (Rochelle) Bush, Rev. James Cosby (Kim), Bush, Emma Ann Williams, Clifton (Annie) Bush, Albany, GA; Willie C. (Rosalyn) Bush, Jr., Jonesboro, GA; Rev. Lou Gene (Mamie) Bush, Edison, GA, two devoted friends, Vickie Dunnell and Annie Doris Grant and two bonus daughters Sandra Jackson Hudson and Theresa “Tee” Kyles and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
