Great is Thy Faithfulness, O God my Father. There is no shadow of turning with Thee.Thou changes’ not. Thy compassions, they fail not. As Thou hast been. Thou forever will be.
Ms. Yvonne “Von” Manuel, a woman of great strength, courage that truly carried her on; on this side of Heaven was born December 15,1954 to the parents of Mary Eunice Manuel and Fred Manuel.
Born in Americus, Georgia. Yvonne lost her mother to cancer at an early age. Her sister Mary Katherine “Kat” and brother James Manuel “Kurt” moved to Bainbridge, Georgia where they were reared by their grandmother Mary Catherine Brown “Pinky” and their Aunt Minnie Mae Collins.
At an early age Yvonne confessed her love for Christ and joined Nelson Chapel Baptist Church in Bainbridge, Georgia. In conversation “Von” would say, “That’s Fine” and we all knew what she meant.
Born the second of three children, Yvonne’s life was filled with joy and laughter, graduating from Bainbridge High School in the class of “1972”.
The sun rose for Yvonne Manuel on December 15, 1954, and the sunset for her on April 18, 2023. Entering into her Master’s joy one more time she whispered “That’s Fine”.
Yvonne leaves to cherish her memories her parents: Fred and Winnifred Manuel of West Palm Beach, Florida; A sister: Artelia Manuel of West Palm Beach, Florida; Her companion of life: Donald Cooper of Bainbridge Georgia; A loving and devoted Niece: Mary Michelle Manuel of West Palm Beach, Florida; A host of nieces and nephews; Devoted cousins: Brian and Rebecca Terry, Zandra Stewart, Leslie Rowell, Marilyn Manuel, Debra Bridges and Gwendolyn Terry of Americus, Georgia; Devoted friends: Pearl Bradley and Jessie Thornton; The devoted Campbell Street Family, blood could not make them any closer.
