Obituary for Lonnie C. Balkman
Our Loving father Lonnie C. Balkman son of Late Ernest and Mary Elizabeth Balkman, was born on March 31, 1931 in Mitchell County Georgia.
Lonnie received his formal education in Georgia.
He attended Popular Spring Church.
In his adult life Lonnie met Dorothy Mae Walker, whom he married and became Dorothy Mae Balkman (proceeded in death). Three children were born to the union: Constance L. Martin (preceded in death) Anthony W. Balkman, Cindy L. Johnson.
Lonnie and Dorothy moved from Georgia to New Jersey where they lived and raised their children. Lonnie worked for Dimedio Lime Company for many years. He retired and returned back to his home State of Georgia.
It was then he met his loving life partner Annette Williams and children Jessica Perry, Eddie Williams and Andrew Williams. They loved and cared for him along with granddaughter Courtashyia Perry.
Preceded him in death: Daughters: Constance L. Martin, (Mother - Dorothy Balkman), Tracy Wyatt ( Mother -Martha Wyatt) and Charlotte Donalson (Mother - Dollie Hutchins);Lonnie's siblings:Annie Grace Walker, Mable Lee Jackson, Mary Agnes Hall, Hattie Mae Smith, Willie C. Balkman and Willie D. Jackson.
Lonnie leaves to cherish his memories, Children: Anthony W. Balkman; Cindy L. Johnson; Howard Wyatt (Mother - Martha Wyatt) and Lonnie Wyatt (Mother - Martha Wyatt); Ellen Wyatt (Mother - Martha Wyatt), Theresa Lindenmuth, Shelia Lewis and Brenda Balkman; Lonnie's Siblings: Andrew Lee Jackson, Charlie E. Jackson, Tyrone Balkman; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other sorrowing family and friends.
