Life Story of
Mr. Eugene Grice
Eugene Grice was born in Attapulgus, GA to Issac and Emma Grice on March 20, 1956; both parents; six sisters Anni Doris Williams, Ada Lee Grier, Mary M. Jackson Lucille Harris (James), Wanda Booker, Mary L. Goodman; bother Dallas Grice; God sister: Janis Jackson.
He was an active member of Saint James Church.
Eugene was educated in Attapulgus, GA where he finished high school and faithfully served in the United States military Army.
His career included multiple stations across the United States, South Korea, and Germany. While in the Military he found the desire of cooking and cutting hair.
Eugene enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends’, cleaning his truck THUNDER, mentoring, and providing spiritual guidance with an infectious smile and genuine love for everyone. His legacy will live in each of our hearts forever.
Eugene answered the call of all the wise Heavenly Father, and slipped away to sleep holding his wife's hand at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital at the time of 1:45 pm.
Eugene leaves a rich legacy and many memories to be cherished by his wife of 27 years Ella Grice of Havana, FL; Six children: Kenekee Norton (Otis), Derrick Grice, Decarius Wright, Shonna Grice (Marlin), Brandy Manuel (Carl) and Octavious Grice; Eight grandchildren: Akeola Telfair (Deion), Stanley Ellison, Jr., Saniyah Wright, Kairon Singleton, Delvion Ellison, Tarie Wise, Kari Wright, Teyani Grice, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
