Obituary for Verdell Nelson
Mrs. Verdell Clark Nelson was born the daughter of the late John Clark and Fannie Hopson-Clark. She was born March 17, 1929 in Reynoldsville Seminole County.
She accepted CHRIST at an early age and joined Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Fairchild, Seminole County.
Later year’s 1953 Verdell moved to Miami Florida to find better work. But she found the love of her life in 1963, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to the Late Andrew Nelson, They were married for thirty four years.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.
Her memories will be cherished by her daughter: Eyvonne Berry of Miami, FL; four granddaughters: Devicka Berry, Latresha Berry, Latasha Berry, and Amilia Seymour all of Miami, FL; a loving sister: Betty Weston of Bainbridge, Devoted niece: Vera Marshall of Quincy FL; Devoted Nephew: Willie “Sonny” Clark of Bainbridge, GA; thirty two nephews and nieces, two sister-n laws; Gwendolyn Clark of Bainbridge, GA; and Veronia Clark of Atlanta, GA; four special friends: Margaret Carter, Emma Brown, Josephine Davis and Connie Bryant; and a host of other sorrowing family and friends.
