Obituary for Norman Hampton
Norman Hampton better known as “Poboy”, 87 was born on August 31, 1936, in Bainbridge GA to the late Margaret Malone Hampton and the late Aaron Hampton.
He retired from Alberta Crate and box and was a self-employed Skillman and a well-known figure of the Pearorchard until his health and he departed on Tuesday December 21, 2023, at Archbold Hospital. He attended and graduated from Hutto High School in Bainbridge GA.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted and loving Winnie Hampton of the Bainbridge, GA; six children: son: Reginald Hampton, Sr., of Bainbridge GA; daughter: Gwendolyn Mitchell (John), Albany GA; son; Norman Hampton, III; son: Jeffrey Woods (Wanda) of Quincy FL; Tyree Wilburn of Bainbridge GA; daughter: Natasha Wilburn of Bainbridge, GA; 15 grandchildren Ashley Mitchell, John Cory Mitchell and Kelly Mitchell of Albany, GA; Reginald Hampton, Jr., Toshera Hampton, Anthony Hampton, Keavian Hampton, Ashanti Hampton of Bainbridge GA; Shammali Wilburn, Tyree Crump, Breundra Woods, Destiny Woods, Imia Woods, LJ Woods and Desmond Woods of FL; and a host of family and friends.
