Annie Lucile Price-Dukes died on October 3rd, 2018. She was born October 3rd, 1943 here in Colquitt, Georgia. She was the daughter of Andrew and Dorothy M. Baker. She had 10 siblings. She was married to Paul Dukes (deceased).
She is survived by 5 daughters. Barbara Means married to Robert (Colquitt, GA) Phyllis Price (Colquitt, GA) Wonda Price (Cary, NC) Vickie married to Jeffrey King (Colquitt, GA) and Jennifer married to Darren Franklin (Colquitt, GA).
She had a total 9 grandchildren: Antwon Cratic, Danyalle Natashia Flowers, Brandan Stewart, Latoya Means, Britney Franklin, Jeffrey King Jr, Ta’Michael Redding, Shaneika King, Je’Darren Franklin.
Great grandchildren: Cason, Ebony, JeBraylon, Ashlynn, Amarion, Brooklyn and Carsyn.
Lucile faithfully attended the Kingdom of Jehovah’s Witnesses for years where she was an active member. She loved Jehovah very much
and was well known for sharing in the preaching work that God’s son Jesus commanded true Christians to preach. Mt 24:14, Mt 28:19,20. She was affiliated with the Colquitt Congregation.
She loved her kids and grandkids dearly and she enjoyed doing bible studies with people and eating out. She was happily married for 1 year to Paul Dukes, he was her best friend and partner besides him being her amazing husband. Paul loved Lucile, he viewed her as mentioned in
Proverb 18:22 - “The one who finds a good wife has found something good, and he receives Jehovah’s favor.”
In his own words, he said that this year has been the best year of his life being married to Lucile and everybody around them could feel and see that they were madly in love.
Lucile touched so many lives and she will be truly missed by her children and other family members and friends. One of her favorite scriptures of trusting in Jehovah is at Isaiah 41:10 - Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.’ She knew no matter what happened she would faithfully be obedient to her Heavenly Father Jehovah. And she firmly believe that she will be in God’s memory. Revelation 21:3,4
