Brother David Edmond was born in Attapulgus, Georgia April 8, 1934 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Vincent (Lugenia) Edmond.
At an early age he accepted CHRIST and joined Bethel A.M.E. church where he served as an Usher until his passing.
He received his education in the Decatur County School System. After graduating he enlisted in the United States Army where he served for 20 years. After his discharge he was employed by Englehard Minerals and Chemicals for years. (1976-1993)
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Hattie R. Gattling, Leona Jenkins and James Edmond, Sr.
He leaves to cherish is memories a loving and devoted wife: Irene Roberts Edmond; Three children: Cynthia A. Patterson (Warner) of Caleria AL; Freda Edmond (Joe) of Charlotte, NC; and Francine Edmond of Columbus, GA; and Idahosa (Robert) Columbus, GA; Four grandchildren: Tiffany Patterson, Brandy Patterson, Warner Patterson II and Ashley Reid (Tiante); Three great grandchildren: Carter Reid, Caisen Reid and Caiden Reid; and host of nephews, nieces, cousin, and other sorrowing family and friends.
